I'm a Manchester United supporter and although I don't get up to Old Trafford any more, I have great memories of the golden age of Best, Law and Charlton. I never thought I'd see the dominant success of the last fifteen years and I'm enjoying the naughties much more than I did a few years ago.
I am also a classic rock nut who knows far too much about the legendary rock bands of the 1960s and 1970s. Yes I'm an old hippy. I believe great music stopped when I left university in 1981 and discovered Chartered Accountancy. I wonder if there is a connection?
I love Italy, Southern Africa and cruises. You have to spend your money on something and mine goes on great holidays. I like the idea of having a classic car from the late sixties or early seventies but I'm not practical so the Maserati Ghilbi, Ferrari Daytona or Lamborghini Miura will have to wait.
I love reading action thrillers and business books.
