Why Completing The
Business Assessment Form Is Such
An Important Part Of
Your Profit Improvement Process
Depending on how well you do it, it takes between ten and thirty minutes to do.
You probably don't want to fill in a form but let me explain why it is so important.
Listening to small business owners, I hear general frustrations, vague descriptions of the underlying problems and abstract desires.
You can't solve the vague, general and abstract.
What does "I want to make more money" mean? It doesn't help you to focus.
"I want to increase my profits by £50,000 over the 12 months" is much better. It's clear and gives us a chance to build up ways to do it and to prioritise.
You need to get specific and the Business Assessment helps you to do that.
You will find that completing it gives you a chance to think...really think...about your business and what you want. You will find it a valuable exercise in its own right.
It's also the key to having a great free 30 minute consultation with me.
You are much clearer about what you want and so am I.
We can focus on the solutions rather than trying to define the problems.
It gives you a much better experience and you can walk away with practical ideas of how you can improve your business.
And I know I will have given you my best...and hopefully that's impressive enough to convince you that by becoming a client, you will make much more money.
You see when I get your completed Business Assessment back, I spend about 30 to 60 minutes preparing for our consultation depending on how much information you've given me. Perhaps even more.
It also helps me to check you diagnosis of what is holding back your business.
It is too easy to mistake symptoms for the underlying problems...what may appear to a marketing problem which could be solved by better advertising and promotions...could really be a symptom of bad business economics or a weak me-too offer which doesn't stand out from competitors.
The more you tell me, the more I can give back unless you identify problems I can't fix.
It's happened once so far...when personal problems were the big constraint stopping the business owner focusing on the business. It was clear those needed to be fixed first and I'm not that person.
Do it now...it is the first tangible step in your profit improvement project.
