If you are outside the UK or if you are not yet ready to commit to a business coaching or marketing coaching relationship, then I have spent many years and a significant amount of money investigating the best business development solutions available to buy.

Formula Five
In the Business Development section of the website I recommend products from people who I consider to be the business development superstars and who are regularly featured on my Business Coaching Blog.
Why I Recommend Other People's Products
I know that one-to-one business coaching is not for everybody.
For some, the coaching model doesn't suit their working and learning style. While some entrepreneurs appreciate being held accountable and having someone to discuss the issues, others are fiercely independent.
For other people, the inevitable cost of qualified, highly experienced coaches is prohibitive. The cost is either beyond what they are able to pay or what they are willing to pay.
I have been searching the small business advice market, looking at a wide range of different business development solutions.
I do it for four reasons:
- I don't want any business to struggle when it has committed owners passionate about providing great benefits to customers and clients.
- I am a student of business - I know that there is always more to learn and I can always get better at what I do.
- I want to check out my competitors. It is essential to know what you are up against and there is no better way than to try their products and services.
- I want to find a range of business development programs that fitted around what I can do. Part of my vision is that anyone who comes into contact with me or my websites, gains from the experience and has a clear way forward to develop their business.
Through my business development knowledge (as a chartered accountant, MBA and certified Guerrilla Marketing Coach) and experience (over 25 years of business experience since 1981 backed up by continuous development and learning throughout that time) I believe that I can help you to find the right business development program for you.
It's About You
You can take the next section passively and just read on or actively and write down the answers to these questions which will help you decide what type of business development you really want and need:
- What are the three biggest problems in your business?
- What is your budget? How much are you prepared to spend on business advice?
- How quickly do you want or need to see improvements in your business?
- How important is it to you that there is a strong risk reversal with a money back guarantee if you are not happy?
- What is your preferred learning method?
- How important is it to you that you are part of a community where members can help each other?
- How important is it to you that you get feedback on your work and that you are held accountable for your commitments by someone else?
- How big a role does the Internet have in your business?
By answering the questions above I hope that I have helped you to clarify exactly what it is that you are looking for.
Affiliate Schemes - I Earn From You Buying These Business Development Programs
I don't want there to be any misunderstanding but you have my promise that I only recommend the best business development programs that I find.
I will make a few comments about who I believe the program will suit but then I will refer you to their main sales page.
These are usually beautifully written and very convincing. That's why my third party recommendation adds value. Even with my experience I have bought some rubbish although most of the time I get it right.
All of these programs are likely to be cost much less than a one to one coaching program from an experienced business coach but you don't receive the personal accountability, the encouragement and the advice tailoring the ideas to your business.
Let Me Introduce You To
Jay Conrad Levinson & Guerrilla Marketing - conceived as the first marketing books and programs especially designed for small businesses in the early and mid eighties, I believe that it remains the benchmark and standard bearer for marketing advice for entrepreneurs.
I must admit a bias. I was so taken with the Guerrilla Marketing ideas I qualified and trade as a Certified Guerrilla Marketing Coach.

Nitro Blueprint System
An excellent "build your own successful Internet marketing business from scratch" product from Nitro Marketing. Lots of great resources, great value and a "done for you" service if the technical aspects become too much for you. They confuse me so while the explanations and videos are good, I don't want to learn how to be a techie and you may not want to either.
For more details see Nitro Marketing.

Jay Abraham
Last but by no means least. My favourite business guru and for many years reputedly the world's highest paid consultant. Be warned his material is addictive and can seriously damage your wealth if you use it as intellectual entertainment but if you put it into action, wow. Jay Abraham's claim to fame is that he has generated about $7 Billion dollars of extra profit for his clients.
