Judith Astles BSc ACA Part Time Finance Director North East Hampshire & Surrey Border
I qualified in 1986 as a chartered accountant with one of the “Big 4” accounting firms, before leaving to enter industry as a corporate accountant.
My experience has been developed through a variety of senior finance roles in major companies and also working as a finance director in a small family run business. I have seen the benefits of good financial management to both large and small companies.
I have extensive experience in the service sector, particularly insurance, leisure and IT.
It is vital to any business that there is good financial control for the business to grow and develop. It is also important that the finance function is viewed as part of the overall management team so that everybody is working towards the same common goal.
I work with SMEs as part of their management team helping them to develop good financial strategy, cash management, management reporting and accounting controls. My services include:
• Preparation of budgets and re-forecasts • Preparation of cash flow forecasts • Management of your financial resources – cash! • Development of funding strategies • Advice on and implementation of financial controls • Preparation and explanation of your management accounts • Maintenance of the financial integrity of your data • Project management • Preparation draft accounts and supporting information for the statutory accounts
I am based in NE Hampshire and work with clients in NE Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.
If you have a requirement for a finance director for either regular reporting or ad hoc project work, then please contact me by emailing judith.astles@plancs.co.uk and I will call you as soon as possible.
I look forward to hearing from you.
