"Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information on it." (Samuel Johnson)

In recent research more than a third of small business owners admitted that they feel that they are on their own when making major decisions and more than 40% confessed to loneliness when focusing on changing strategy.
This business library and indeed our entire business ethos, is about trying to do something to relieve these pressures.

What these business articles can do for you
We emphasise the importance of IDEAS, INSIGHT, INSPIRATION and INNOVATION.
We are sure that these articles will give you the first three and that could lead to innovation that transforms the performance of your business. We are here to help you put these ideas into action and turn your dreams into reality.
Just to remind you, there are several different types of innovation:
- New to the business - catch up with your better competitors
- New to the industry or market sector - jump ahead of your competitors
- New to the world - become a legend
If an idea works elsewhere, it could work for you and your business or perhaps reading might inspire a really creative solution to a persistent problem, either for your company or your customers.
These business articles are available for downloading free of charge from the website or up to three reports by email on request.
We are controlling access to some of the reports for two reasons:
- We have a limited amount of storage space on the site and intend to change the reports available at different stages of the year. It might be a good idea to create this as one of your favourites so that you can easily come back and check if there is anything new that will help you.
- Some of the reports are too good for general release. Part of our longstanding commitment to our clients is that we won't work with a close competitor. We believe that it is not fair to be paid fees by one client and then find ourselves in a conflict of interest by helping someone else become a more effective and dangerous competitor.
