This Information Publication looks at business continuity management is an ongoing process of risk assessment and management with the purpose of ensuring that the business can continue if risks materialise. 16 BUSINESS DESTROYING SECURITY FLAWS FOUND IN MANY COMPANIES...AND HOW TO AVOID THEM
In this article, Ashton Wood of SecureStix explains how data can be protected. This subject has particular resonance for me as in 2006 I had a computer crash that caused my hard disk to be wiped on my desk top PC. My main data was backed up but not my emails and my email address book. I also thought that I'd lost a memory stick that I use for quick copies of recently changed data and the thought of that getting into the wrong hands caused me to lose sleep before I found it.
